Webland provides dedicated SMTP servers for sending emails via web applications or forms. To ensure that emails are sent correctly, certain requirements must be met.
Which SMTP Server Should Be Used?
Please use only the following SMTP server for sending emails from web applications or scripts:
SMTP Server:
msscript1.webland.ch
To use in applications:
msscript1
(without the domain name!)
Requirements for Sending Emails
To successfully send emails via your application, at least one of the following conditions must be met:
Option 1: The sender email address (From) must be a valid email address or alias set up with Webland.
Option 2: The recipient email address (To) must be a valid email address or alias set up with Webland.
If neither of these conditions can be met (e.g., when using your own mail server), you can whitelist a custom sender email address.
Whitelisting a Custom Sender Email Address
If you need to use a custom sender address, you can authorize it in the System Configurator:
Step 1: Log in to the System Configurator.
Step 2: Navigate to Webserver → Email Sending via App.
Step 3: Add the desired sender email address to the whitelist.
Once this configuration is complete, emails can be sent using the specified sender address.
