You can easily and conveniently upload your website to the web server via FTP (File Transfer Protocol).
The procedure is as follows:
If you do not yet have an FTP programme, download the FTP programme FileZilla, for example.
You can find the programme under the following link:
FileZilla Download (Windows)
FileZilla Download (MacOS)
Install the FileZilla FTP programme according to the manufacturer's instructions
Start FileZilla
Enter the information of your FTP user:
Under "Server" enter your domain name without www.
Under "User Name", enter the user name according to our access confirmation (WebServer login data) (e.g. www123).
For "Password", enter the password according to our access confirmation (WebServer login data).
Under "Port" you can choose from 3 different options:
FTP (unsecured): 21
FTPS (secured): 990 (Only for Windows Hosting!)
SFTP (secured): 22 (Only for Linux hosting!)
Then click on ‘Connect’ to establish the FTP connection.
FTP users can be managed in the System Configurator!
If the connection is successful, the data of the local device is displayed on the left-hand side and the data on your web server is displayed on the right-hand side.
You can then move your web data to the right-hand side and the data will be uploaded to the server.
Please note that with Linux Hosting, you must move the data to the www directory so that the data is visible on the Internet.
For Windows Hostings, the web data can be stored in the home directory.
Further information on FileZilla can be found here:
Note: TLS resumption for recurring connections is currently not yet supported on the server side under Windows. You can tick the box in the FileZilla message, after which a secure encrypted connection will be established.
