Depending on your setup and the configuration of your Exchange Server, you have four different scenarios available. Please select the scenario that best fits your infrastructure.
1. MS Exchange Server with a Fixed IP Address - Sending Emails via Webland Mail Server
If your Exchange Server has a fixed public IP address and you want to send emails through the Webland Mail Server, follow these steps:
Register the Fixed Public IP Address:
Log in to the System Configurator at www.webland.ch using your customer number and password.
Navigate to "Manage Hosting/E-Mail"
Select your domain and click on "Manage."
In the top-right navigation, go to "E-Mail/CloudOffice" and select "MS Exchange Server"
Enter your fixed public IP address and click "Save Changes."
SMTP Server for Sending Emails:
Use the following server as the outgoing mail server (SMTP):
smtp.speedconnect.ch
.
SMTP Authentication:
SMTP authentication must not be enabled.
2. MS Exchange Server with a Fixed IP Address - Sending Emails Directly through this Server
If you want to send emails directly through your Exchange Server with a fixed IP address, no changes are required. Your Exchange Server is already configured for direct email sending.
3. MS Exchange Server without a Fixed IP Address - Sending Emails via Webland Mail Server
In this scenario, sending emails through the Webland Mail Server is not possible. You need to use the mail server of your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
4. MS Exchange Server without a Fixed IP Address - Sending Emails Directly through this Server
No changes are necessary in this scenario either. Your Exchange Server is already set up to send emails directly.
